The National Space Centre, in collaboration with ESA, linked live to the International Space Station to talk to ESA Astronaut Andre Kuipers. A number of local schools were invited to participate at this amazing event – with a lucky few able to ask Andre their own questions. I have embedded the NSC recording from the day.
Outreach activities for the event focussed on ESA’s promISSe experiment packs related to convection and foam stability on Earth and in Space. I conducted some outreach experiments busking in the museum prior to the main event.
